Reports To: Senior Pastor
Position Summary
The Part-Time Worship Leader is responsible for leading the congregation in meaningful, Christ-centered worship through music. This role requires strong lead vocal ability, spiritual maturity, and the ability to coordinate and develop a worship team. The Worship Leader will collaborate closely with the Pastor to plan services that support the preaching and overall mission of the church.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead congregational worship through strong lead vocals and musical leadership
- Select songs for weekly worship services
- Maintain an intentional balance of hymns and contemporary worship music
- Collaborate with the Pastor on service planning and themes
- Coordinate and schedule worship team members and musicians
- Lead weekly Wednesday night worship team rehearsals
- Introduce and teach new songs to the congregation
- Ensure worship services are well-organized and prepared
- Foster a Christ-centered, encouraging environment within the worship team
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong lead vocal ability
- Experience leading congregational worship
- Ability to train and develop vocalists (preferred but not required)
- Musical proficiency (instrumental ability preferred but not required)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with church leadership

Time Commitment
- Sunday morning worship services
- Weekly Wednesday night rehearsal
- Quarterly Worship Night Events
- Additional planning and coordination as needed
- Monthly Planning meeting with the Pastor
- Possible meetings for special events
Pay: $900.00 - $1,300.00 per month
Work Location: In person
