Part-time Worship Leader

Reports To: Senior Pastor

Position Summary

The Part-Time Worship Leader is responsible for leading the congregation in meaningful, Christ-centered worship through music. This role requires strong lead vocal ability, spiritual maturity, and the ability to coordinate and develop a worship team. The Worship Leader will collaborate closely with the Pastor to plan services that support the preaching and overall mission of the church.

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead congregational worship through strong lead vocals and musical leadership
• Select songs for weekly worship services
• Maintain an intentional balance of hymns and contemporary worship music
• Collaborate with the Pastor on service planning and themes
• Coordinate and schedule worship team members and musicians
• Lead weekly Wednesday night worship team rehearsals
• Introduce and teach new songs to the congregation
• Ensure worship services are well-organized and prepared
• Foster a Christ-centered, encouraging environment within the worship team

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong lead vocal ability
• Experience leading congregational worship
• Ability to train and develop vocalists (preferred but not required)
• Musical proficiency (instrumental ability preferred but not required)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with church leadership

Time Commitment

• Sunday morning worship services
• Weekly Wednesday night rehearsal
• Quarterly Worship Night Events
• Additional planning and coordination as needed
• Monthly Planning meeting with the Pastor

• Possible meetings for special events

Pay: $900.00 - $1,300.00 per month

Work Location: In person
