Hourly Wage and eligible for Overtime
$17.4880 - $25.3530 per hour, based on experience in field
Essential Functions of the Job
The employee will answer directly to the Fleet Manager. An employee in this classification must perform at the proficiency level in the field of welding.
Through knowledge of the skills involved, methods, materials, and equipment used in the field. The employee is responsible for the leading, guiding, and training of Apprentice Technicians. They will plan, layout, and supervise the work of skilled and unskilled workers.
Description of Duties
Knowledge of the Following:
Welding:
Operation of Parkways Radio
Forms (operations daily report, work & purchase orders)
Light torches and set gauges
Welding and brazing of mild steel
Use of diesel-powered welder
Use of band saw
Use of grinder
Use of electrical welders
Use of boom of welding truck
Use of track torch
Use of plasma torch
Use of aluminum/MIG welder
Hydraulic System:
Change hydraulic hoses
Due to an emergency, you may be required to perform duties associated with snow and ice.
Snow and Ice:
Replace hydraulic hoses
Replace pumps
Replace spinner wheel
Replace auger
Replace snow blades
Replace caster wheels/assemblies
Replace plow jack
Miscellaneous:
Flagging and various other duties for maintenance and upkeep of
small equipment such as mowers, lawn mowers, and weed eaters.
Any other duties as they are assigned.
Salary : $75,000
