ASSISTANT PROFESSOR-ENGLISH
MOUNTWEST COMMUNITY & TECHNICAL COLLEGE-CABELL CO.
Salary: $38,000-$42,000 per year based on education and experience.
Mountwest Community & Technical College is accepting applications for a 1-year temporary Assistant Professor of English position. There is (one) position available. This is a full-time, 1-year temporary, term 9-month, benefits eligible faculty position available beginning with the Fall 2026 academic term.
Duties and Responsibilities: Duties include teaching a full load of courses (15 credit hours per semester) in the subject areas of English. Responsibilities also include maintaining 8 office hours, participation in curriculum development, assessment, advising, recruiting, and other assignments supporting division goals. Successful candidate will also be required to participate in college committees, participate in professional development activities, and other related duties as assigned. Must be willing to teach online, flex, hybrid, or any other type of modality.
Salary : $38,000 - $42,000
