System Medical Group seeks a Gastroenterologist. The successful candidate/candidates will be expected to practice in the primary location of Colliers Way Professional Plaza- 701 Colliers Way Weirton, WV.
Qualifications: Candidates must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible for state medical license. Candidates must have completed an accredited internal medicine residency program and gastroenterology fellowship and be board eligible/board certified in gastroenterology and hepatology. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
Our GI and Hepatology service line of professionals offer a complete range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, treats a medically diverse population, and has exposure to clinically challenging cases. We have a new and expanding endoscopy center including state-of-the-art suites for advanced procedures and ERCPs, as well as close access to adjacent specialty clinics.
The WVU Health System Medical Group formed in 2021 and has since grown to 900 physicians and advanced practice providers. Caregivers affiliated with the group practice inall 25 WVU Medicine hospitalsand clinics. The group's physicians serve in a variety of specialties and subspecialties - from primary care to advanced specialty care - and work in tandem with the WVU faculty practice plan.
