If you’re an energetic, outgoing person who loves building relationships and helping business owners succeed, then WVRC Media Beckley (WJLS FM & AM) wants to speak with YOU! WVRC Media Beckley has a full-time position available for a Account Executive. This opportunity includes medical insurance, 401K, and vacation time. Prior media sales experience preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities:
- Provide advertising solutions and marketing strategies for local businesses.
- Present the products and services of WVRC Media, including audio, digital, and video
- Identify prospective business opportunities with new and existing customers
- Establish and maintain communication with customers to ensure strong customer relations
- Continually increase knowledge and understanding of marketing tools, techniques, and strategies
Requirements:
- Understanding of fundamental marketing and advertising principles
- Prior sales experience in sales and/or media is preferred, but not required
- Must have reliable transportation
- Present and communicate in a highly professional manner
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Need to be organized with strong time management skills
- Possess proven analytical problem solving solutions for the customer and the company
- Computer proficiency in Windows and Microsoft applications
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills
- Self-Motivated and able to work independently to meet or exceed goals
