QUALIFICATIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Knowledge of various components of a music program such as field shows, arrangement, instrumentation, leadership, instruction, etc.
- Experience with music instruction.
- Participation in musical organizations
- Good interpersonal skills with an ability to work well with others
- Ability to coordinate community resources
- Coordinate, supervise, lead, instruct and perform other duties necessary for the implementation of a successful instrumental music program.
DUTIES:
- Attend all Band Booster meetings
- Attend all performances and band events
- Assist in supporting the overall success and positive culture of the band and performing arts program
- Promote strong communication, teamwork, and positive relationships among students, staff, and parents.
- Support the Band Director with organizational and instructional needs as assigned
- Model and promote professional habits, responsibility, and positive conduct among students
