The clerk will process a variety of motor vehicle transactions, including vehicle titles, registrations, renewals, and driver’s license or identification card applications in accordance with state regulations. Daily responsibilities include verifying documentation, entering and updating information in state systems, collecting fees and handling payments, and issuing appropriate credentials or paperwork. The role involves explaining requirements and procedures to customers in clear, courteous language, answering questions in person and by phone, and helping individuals prepare complete and accurate applications. The clerk will also help maintain organized records, safeguard confidential information, support office opening/closing procedures, and collaborate with teammates to ensure a smooth, efficient customer experience.

Qualifications
- Strong customer service and communication skills, including the ability to interact professionally and patiently with a diverse range of customers.

- Ability to learn and follow complex state motor vehicle, title, and licensing regulations with close attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency with computers, data entry, and office systems; able to navigate multiple software applications quickly and accurately.
