The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overall warehouse operations, system control, operational planning, coordination, and performance management. This role holds full ownership of warehouse execution, inventory accuracy, and team performance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Overall Warehouse Operations Management
- Oversee receiving, putaway, storage, picking, packing, and shipping operations
- Ensure all orders are fulfilled and shipped in accordance with company timelines
- Monitor daily warehouse performance and operational status
- Adjust manpower allocation based on workload and business needs
- Ensure all warehouse activities comply with company SOPs
2. System & Inventory Control (NetSuite)
- Take full ownership of inventory accuracy within NetSuite
- Monitor and manage key system transactions, including:
- Item Fulfillment
- Inventory Transfer
- Inventory Adjustment
- Cycle Count
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner
3. Shipping Management & Coordination
- Review and manage daily shipment schedules
- Set shipment priorities based on urgency and business needs
- Ensure orders are released to the warehouse for execution on time
- Coordinate with Sales, Customer Service, and Logistics providers
- Ensure on-time shipment performance meets KPI targets
4. Staff Management
- Lead and manage warehouse team leaders and staff at the IPC facility
- Plan and allocate workforce effectively
- Monitor productivity and enforce accountability
- Provide training and ensure strict adherence to SOPs
5. KPI & Performance Management
Responsible for achieving key warehouse KPIs, including:
- On-time shipment rate
- Inventory accuracy
- Picking accuracy
- Labor productivity
- Warehouse safety compliance
6. Problem Solving & Decision Making
- Resolve shipment delays and operational bottlenecks
- Address inventory discrepancies and system issues
- Handle day-to-day operational challenges
- Make effective and timely warehouse operational decisions
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager
- Strong background in warehouse operations, preferably in: Cabinets, furniture, or building materials; Manufacturing, overseas warehouse, or logistics environments
- Deep understanding of end-to-end warehouse processes
- Hands-on experience with ERP/WMS systems (NetSuite preferred)
- Proven experience with cycle counts and full physical inventory
- Bilingual in Mandarin and English
