LONG TERM SUBSTITUTE PARAPROFESSIONAL (1:1)The Long Term Substitute Paraprofessional (1:1) works closely with an assigned student under the direction of a certified teacher to support the students academic, behavioral, and social-emotional development. The paraprofessional assists in implementing instructional plans and helps the student make progress toward Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals in an inclusive and supportive learning environment.Responsibilities: - Provide one-on-one support to an assigned student throughout the school day.- Reinforce lessons and instructional materials as directed by the classroom teacher.- Assist the student with completing assignments, staying on task, and participating in classroom activities.- Communicate regularly with the supervising teacher regarding student needs, progress, and any concerns.- Assist with independent study, skill-building activities, and remedial instruction as assigned.- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development as required.- Maintain confidentiality of student information at all time.- Perform other related duties as assigned.Salary: $100.00/day worked.
