Part-Time Liquor Store Cashier
Looking to earn extra money in a fast-paced, friendly environment? West Side Liquors is hiring a dependable part-time cashier to assist customers, operate the register, stock merchandise, and keep the store clean and organized.
Hours will vary based on the store’s scheduling needs, and applicants must be willing to pick up available shifts. There is an opportunity to move into a full-time position based on reliability, performance, availability, and store needs.
Pay: Starting at $11.00 per hour plus tips
Location: 501 N Tekoppel Avenue, Evansville, IN 47712
Schedule
Flexible availability is required for daytime and evening shifts, weekends, holidays, and picking up open shifts as needed.
- Morning shift: 9:00 AM–4:00 PM
- Evening shift: 4:00 PM–12:00 AM
- Sunday shift: 12:00 PM–8:00 PM
Responsibilities
- Provide friendly customer service and operate the register
- Accurately handle cash and credit-card transactions
- Open and close the store during assigned shifts
- Stock shelves, coolers, and displays
- Receive and organize deliveries
- Keep the store clean, organized, and presentable
- Handle invoices and vendor paperwork as needed
- Communicate clearly with management regarding inventory, store needs, and shift issues
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
- A valid Indiana liquor employee permit is required
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must be able to lift at least 35 pounds
- Must be able to stand and move throughout the shift
- Must be dependable, trustworthy, and detail-oriented
- Must be able to work independently without constant supervision
- Must be receptive to direction and constructive feedback
- Must have flexible availability and be willing to pick up open shifts
Pay: From $11.00 per hour
