Position: Employee Relations Specialist  
Location: Mechanicsburg, PA (ONSITE)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-5:00PM (Full-Time)

Purpose of Position:

As an Employee Relations Specialist at West Shore Home, you will support and respond to workplace concerns related to discrimination and harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, and violations of Company policy through unbiased review, fact-finding, investigation, documentation, policy interpretation and articulation, performance-related coaching, and recommendations for corrective action as warranted.

Key Role Accountabilities:

  • Supports the ERM and Human Resource Business Partners (HRBP’s) with investigations to ensure each is unbiased and consistent to make certain the Company’s treatment of employees is aligned and consistent with the Company’s core values, polices, and procedures.
  • Offers expertise and consultation to HRBPs, managers, supervisors, and employees regarding employee relations, equal employment opportunity (EEO), compliance matters, policies and procedures, performance management, and other legal issues.
  • Demonstrates ability to exercise discretion and sound judgment in managing processes, making informed decisions, and handling sensitive information.
  • Facilitates communication with employees regarding employee relations matters and offers guidance and recommendations for resolution.

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; Concentration in Human Resource Management preferred.
  • Human Resources Certification preferred (SHRM or HRCI).
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of relevant Human Resources experience.
