Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Restoration Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for restoring properties affected by fire, water, mold, and other damages, ensuring a safe and clean environment for our clients. This role requires hands-on work in various restoration projects, utilizing specialized tools and techniques to efficiently restore homes and commercial spaces. Prior experience in the restoration industry is highly valued, along with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
Duties
- Perform water damage restoration, fire damage cleanup, and mold remediation to restore properties to their original condition.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment to carry out repairs and restoration tasks.
- Conduct carpet cleaning, asbestos abatement, and other specialized cleaning services as needed.
- Assist with demolition, debris removal, and structural repairs during the restoration process.
- Apply knowledge of the restoration industry standards to ensure quality workmanship and safety compliance.
- Operate equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to all safety protocols.
- Document work performed and communicate progress with team members and clients effectively.
Requirements
- Proven experience in the restoration industry or related fields such as construction or cleaning services.
- Knowledge of fire restoration, water damage restoration, mold remediation, asbestos abatement, and carpet cleaning is preferred.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and other construction equipment safely.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor including lifting, bending, and working in confined spaces.
- Valid driver’s license is preferred for travel between job sites.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different restoration projects.
- Prior experience with restoration industry standards is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided for qualified candidates committed to growth in the field.
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
