West Ohio Community Action Partnership (WOCAP) is seeking a compassionate and motivated Fatherhood Mentor Coach to help fathers build stronger relationships with their children through mentoring, education, coaching, and community support. This position empowers fathers to strengthen their parenting skills, achieve personal goals, and create positive outcomes for their families.
What You'll Do
- Mentor and coach fathers through one-on-one and group sessions.
- Facilitate fatherhood, parenting, and life skills classes.
- Encourage fathers to become active, positive role models in their children's lives.
- Connect participants with community resources and support services.
- Assist fathers in setting and achieving personal, educational, and employment goals.
- Conduct outreach throughout Auglaize and Mercer Counties to engage fathers and families.
- Collaborate with WOCAP staff and community partners to strengthen family services. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred in Human Services or a related field.
- Two years of experience working with families, parents, or children.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to facilitate small groups and work independently.
- Valid Ohio driver's license and reliable transportation.
