As an Office Assistant, you will assist the provider and office manager by creating a clean and friendly environment for our patients and help with general clerical and organizational duties
Duties
- Greet patients at the front desk, provide information, and ensure a welcoming environment for clients and guests.
- Organize medical records, stationary, and note patient/client inquiries to be addressed by the manager and provider
- Assist with scheduling appointments (new and existing patients).
- Checking patients in using HIPPAA compliant sign in sheets
- Provide exceptional customer support via phone or in person, addressing patient and client needs efficiently while demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and HIPAA compliance.
- Help with photocopying general use office forms
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- General Medical Education and Experience preferred, but not required.
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail for matching information, writing information and filing by alphabetical order.
- Experience with phone systems and handling front desk responsibilities.
- Previous experience as a receptionist or personal assistant is preferred; familiarity with medical reception is a plus.
- Ability to manage time effectively while juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Training will be provided on site
