What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Agent position at West Jefferson Hotel?
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist guests with check-ins, check-outs, and general inquiries.
- Be able to use a computer and PMS system, including but not limited to the following actions: process new reservations for hotel stays, modify/cancel guest reservations as necessary, maintain detailed guest information, protect confidential guest information, monitor hotel arrival and departure schedule, process payments.
- Guide guests to their respective room and showcase the hotel's public guest spaces.
- Provide concierge assistance by offering information about the hotel, local attractions, and general travel logistics for the area.
- Coordinate with other hotel staff including housekeepers, maintenance, management, and other serve assistants.
- Maintain positive attitude and polished appearance as the front level of the hotel brand and standards.
- Have the ability to stand for extended periods.
- Previous experience preferred.
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
