Position Summary
West Jackson Community Development Corporation is seeking a dedicated and experienced Program Manager to lead the daily operations of a U.S. Department of Labor-funded Reentry Program serving justice-involved young adults ages 18–24. The Program Manager will oversee program implementation, supervise staff, ensure compliance with grant requirements, build community partnerships, and monitor participant outcomes. This position requires a passionate leader committed to workforce development, second chances, and helping young adults achieve long-term success.
Essential Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations of the Reentry Program.
- Supervise program staff, provide coaching, and conduct performance evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with U.S. Department of Labor grant requirements, policies, and performance measures.
- Monitor participant enrollment, case management, training activities, supportive services, and employment outcomes.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with employers, educational institutions, training providers, justice agencies, and community organizations.
- Review program data, reports, and participant files to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare and submit program reports and documentation as required.
- Monitor budgets and coordinate with fiscal staff to ensure responsible use of grant funds.
- Lead staff meetings and support continuous program improvement.
- Represent WJCDC at community meetings, networking events, and partner engagements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Pay: $50,000.00 per year
