Shipyard Pipe Installation Specialist

Pay: $52 per hour and $180 day per diem

What You’ll Do

• Lay out, fit, and install marine piping systems made from steel, galvanized pipe, copper, copper‑nickel, and stainless steel.
• Install and align valves, fittings, and related components in accordance with drawings, arrangements, and blueprints.
• Use hand and power tools plus measuring instruments to verify fit, alignment, and final installation quality.
• Work in a shipyard environment that includes heights, confined areas, and changing weather conditions.
• Support production and coordinate with other crafts across multiple shifts to meet ship construction deadlines.
• Follow strict safety practices at all times.

What You Bring

• Hands‑on experience in pipefitting within marine, industrial, or petro‑chemical environments.
• Ability to read and interpret system layouts, drawings, and blueprints.
• Skill with a range of piping materials and associated components.
• A safety‑first mindset and a strong team orientation.

Must Have

• 3 yrs of marine, industrial or petro‑chemical pipefitting experience
