What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Engineer- Shipyard position at Advanced Technical Staffing Solutions?
ATSS has a client in Pascagoula, MS looking for Field Engineers
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Provide technical support to shipyard production teams
- Interpret engineering drawings and provide sketches as needed
- Coordinate engineering changes and revisions
- Assist with regulatory, classification, and technical issues
- Coordinate as-built documentation
- Support Engineering, Production, and Tests & Trials
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2–3 years of Field Engineering or related experience
- Shipbuilding, engineering, or production experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of engineering drawings and production processes
- AutoCAD and Microsoft Office experience required
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field preferred, or equivalent experience/training
Pay: $42.00 per hour
Expected hours: 45.0 – 60.0 per week
Work Location: In person
