What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pharmacy Technician position at West Front Primary Care?
West Front Primary Care is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our busy Medication Refill team. This is a 4-day (32-38 hour) full time position. Our Medication Refill team requires a clear understanding of clinical pharmacology and involves the following skills:
- Detailed processing of medication refill requests using EMR, telephone and patient portal
- Excellent customer communication with patients, providers, and pharmacies
- Prior Authorizations completion
- Patient Assistance completion
Additionally required:
- Ability to provide an exceptional customer service experience at all times
- Work well within a team environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Professional demeanor while on the phone
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and be flexible
- Excellent computer skills - EMR experience a plus
