Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Visual Merchandiser Associate located in Paramus, NJ. The Visual Merchandiser Associate will be responsible for creating visually compelling displays, merchandise management and placement, and maintaining an inspiring in-store environment. The associate will contribute to the presentation of the brand's story and help customers bring their personal style to life. Additional responsibilities include assisting customers with product selection, ensuring excellent customer service, and supporting sales initiatives.
Role Responsibilities
- Interpret & execute visual inspiration to drive sales & convey the eclectic, creative & modern spirit of the brand
- Ensure merchandising & displays are visually compelling to drive sales
- Create engaging experiences for customers by sharing expertise on styling, decorating & entertaining
- Replenish the sales floor regularly & maintain visual presentation & displays
- Execute floorset to reflect the inspiration, standards & spirit of the directive within required timeframe
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build connections with customers and team members
- Experience in retail environments and a solid understanding of visual merchandising principles
- Proficiency in delivering exceptional customer service and supporting customer needs
- Knowledge and skills in sales practices and techniques
- Familiarity with creating and maintaining effective displays and store presentations
- Passion for design, home furnishings, and helping customers express their personal style
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple priorities effectively
Physical Requirements:
• Must be able to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods of time
• Must be able to lift & mobilize medium to large items, up to 75 lbs., while utilizing appropriate equipment & safety techniques
• Early mornings and potential over night shifts
• Full time associates are expected to have open availability
