We are seeking an Engineering Technician to support the assembly, integration, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of advanced aerospace hardware. Working closely with engineers across multiple disciplines, you will play a hands-on role in supporting laboratory operations, building prototypes, and preparing hardware for testing and delivery.
What You'll Do
- Perform PCB assembly, soldering, and rework of SMT and through-hole components
- Build and modify harnesses utilizing D-Sub, Micro-D, and circular connectors
- Support hardware integration, troubleshooting, and testing activities
- Operate laboratory equipment including oscilloscopes, power supplies, and multimeters
- Execute test procedures and document test results
- Support calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe laboratory environments
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related discipline, or equivalent industry experience
- 2 years of relevant hands-on technical experience
- Experience troubleshooting electrical and mechanical hardware
- Experience with PCB soldering and electronic assembly
- Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
- Strong attention to detail and workmanship standards
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications
- IPC-610, IPC-620, or J-STD certification
- Experience supporting aerospace or defense hardware programs
- Experience operating electronic test equipment
- Experience performing hardware troubleshooting and failure analysis
- Experience working from assembly instructions and travelers
Compensation & Benefits
Pay Range: $28-$45/hour, depending on experience, qualifications, and demonstrated capability.
