Responsibilities as Central Supply:

• Inventory Control: Maintain optimal inventory levels, track supplies using, order from vendors, and verify shipments, including inspecting for damages.

• Distribution & Logistics: Fill, distribute, and track requisitions for materials such as gloves, masks, incontinence products, catheters, and bed pans.

• Sterilization & Sanitation: Clean and disinfect reusable equipment, such as IV poles and suction machines, according to infection control policies.

• Organization & Safety: Maintain a clean, organized supply room, ensuring proper stock rotation (first-in, first-out) and adherence to OSHA regulations.

• Collaboration: Coordinate with nursing staff to ensure specialized equipment is available.

• Performs other duties as requested

Qualifications of Central Supply:

• 1 years of related experience required, preferably in a skilled nursing facility

• High School Diploma or equivalent, some college preferred

• Must be able to handle all the physically demanding aspects of being a Central Supply Coordinator in a skilled nursing facility

• Ability to provide great customer service to patients and employees
