Responsibilities and Duties

The Bartender is responsible for the set-up operations and breakdown of the bar.  Job duties include preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.  Ability to interact with guests, co-workers, and supervisors in a positive and helpful manner, as well as being able to work independently for extended periods of time.  It is crucial that the Bartender follows all established guidelines and procedures regarding beverage and safety controls

• Set up and stock bar area along with preparing any alcoholic or nonalcoholic beverages and condiments/supplies

• Greet guests, take customers orders, and serve in a friendly, courteous manner

• Maintain professionalism while assessing guests needs and preferences and offer recommendations if needed

• Maintain a clean and neat work and service area and restock bar inventory and supplies as needed

• Neat, clean, and professional appearance

• Exhibit a sense of urgency

• Guest-friendly demeanor

• Successful in a team environment
