About this role:
This is a full-time 100% remote role for a Mortgage Loan Officer based in the Greater Philadelphia area. The Mortgage Loan Officer will manage the end-to-end loan process, including prospecting and qualifying borrowers, gathering and analyzing financial documentation, and recommending suitable mortgage products. Daily responsibilities include guiding clients through applications, coordinating with underwriting and processing teams, monitoring loan status, and ensuring compliance with lending regulations and company policies. You'll be providing responsive customer service and clear communication throughout the loan lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- Experience as a Loan Officer, with a strong track record in mortgage origination.
- Knowledge of the Mortgage Industry and Mortgage Lending practices, including conventional, FHA, VA, and other common products.
- Understanding of Underwriting standards and documentation requirements to support accurate and timely approvals.
- Demonstrated strength in Customer Service, including active listening, clear communication, and client follow-up.
- Relevant state licensing (NMLS and CA DRE) and familiarity with federal and state lending regulations.
- Ability to analyze income, credit, assets, and collateral, and explain loan options in accessible terms.
- Proficiency with loan origination systems and common office software tools.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple files and deadlines.
- High level of professionalism, ethical judgment, and commitment to inclusive, non-discriminatory client service.
