We are seeking a Loan Officer Assistant who is proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to supporting a high-volume loan officer team. This role is essential to ensuring a smooth client experience from application through closing.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Loan Officers throughout the loan origination process
- Collect, review, and organize borrower documentation (income, assets, credit, etc.)
- Communicate with borrowers, lenders, real estate agents, and internal team members
- Assist in managing pipelines, disclosures, and follow-up communication
- Maintain high standards of accuracy, compliance, and professionalism
Qualifications
- Previous mortgage or financial services experience preferred (LOA, Processor, Jr. Processor, or similar)
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Clear and professional communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple files at once
- Familiarity with mortgage documents, underwriting conditions, and lending guidelines is a plus
- Experience with loan origination software (Encompass, Calyx, Arrive, etc.) is a plus
