Duties
- Assist in framing, trim carpentry, and woodworking tasks using hand tools and power tools to ensure accurate and durable construction.
- Read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to support project execution and ensure specifications are met.
- Perform concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry, and roofing tasks with attention to detail and safety standards.
- Install fixtures such as doors, cabinets, siding, drywall (including plastering), and flooring while adhering to project timelines.
- Conduct restoration work including water damage remediation, mold removal, stucco application, and water damage restoration efforts.
- Support fabrication activities involving metal stud framing, CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machinery operation, and assembly tasks.
- Execute heavy lifting safely during material handling and assist with roofing, siding installation, plumbing, electrical work, and other specialized trades as needed.
Experience
- Prior experience working on construction sites with knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, and schematic interpretation.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, heavy machinery operation, and safety protocols on active job sites.
- Familiarity with various carpentry disciplines such as trim carpentry, frame carpentry, metal stud framing, cabinet installation, door hanging, and flooring installation.
- Knowledge of restoration industry practices including mold remediation and water damage restoration is a plus.
- Experience in the manufacturing or remodeling sectors will be considered an asset.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship across diverse projects.
- Strong understanding of schematics for fixture installation or electrical work is advantageous but not mandatory. Join us in building exceptional spaces!
