Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Carpenter / Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. Duties
- Assist with framing, drywall installation, and trim carpentry using hand tools and power tools to ensure precise craftsmanship.
- Support concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry work, and roofing tasks as needed on-site.
- Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute project specifications.
- Perform heavy lifting and material handling safely to facilitate efficient workflow.
- Install fixtures, doors, siding, cabinetry, flooring, tile, and other building components according to project plans.
- Support restoration efforts including water damage remediation, mold remediation, plastering, stucco application, and water damage restoration.
- Operate CNC machinery for fabrication or assembly tasks when required; assist with metal stud framing and drywall finishing.
- Use hand tools and power tools skillfully for various construction activities such as caulking, painting, plumbing rough-ins, electrical work, and fixture installation.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and conducting routine site inspections.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality standards.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in construction site work or related fields is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with construction estimating, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical drawings.
- Proficiency with hand tools (hammers, saws, screwdrivers) and power tools (drills, saws, grinders).
- Knowledge of various construction disciplines including framing, roofing, siding, drywall finishing, masonry or tile laying is advantageous.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in physically demanding environments.
- Experience with restoration industry practices such as mold remediation or water damage restoration is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Valid driver’s license preferred; certifications in OSHA safety standards or specialized skills (e.g., CNC operation) are a bonus.
