Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, bed making, and bathroom sanitation using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemical agents.
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies and hallways by sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces.
• Handle cleaning supplies safely by adhering to safety guidelines and proper chemical handling procedures.
• Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to moving furniture or cleaning equipment to ensure efficient workflow.
• Follow hotel emergency procedures promptly and accurately in case of incidents or safety concerns.
• Ensure all sanitation standards are met consistently to uphold hygiene and safety regulations within the hotel environment.
• Provide excellent customer service by responding courteously to guest requests for additional cleaning or assistance.

Experience

• Previous hotel housekeeping experience in a hotel is required.
• Familiarity with floor care techniques including floor cleaning, chemical agent handling, and the use of various cleaning equipment such as vacuums and floor scrubbers.
• Knowledge of hotel housekeeping management practices and safety protocols related to chemical handling and heavy lifting.
• Strong understanding of sanitation standards.
• Demonstrated ability to perform manual handling tasks efficiently while maintaining safety standards.
• Experience in delivering exceptional customer service within a hospitality environment is highly valued.

Pay: From $11.00 per hour
