What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinary Kennel Technician position at West Alabama Animal Clinic?
We are currently interviewing for fulltime veterinary kennel technicians to work our closing shift from 5AM-2PM. We are seeking experienced candidates who are eager to be part of a fast-paced, compassionate animal health care team.
This position is responsible for the daily care of boarding and daycare pets while maintaining a clean and sanitary clinic environment. Duties include feeding and giving water to pets, cleaning kennels, walking and bathing animals, and closely monitoring the health and well-being of dogs and cats. Additional responsibilities include cleaning and maintaining common areas such as offices, lobbies, break rooms, and restrooms.
The ideal candidate has a strong love for animals, prior experience in animal care or a veterinary setting, and the ability to warmly welcome clients while providing compassionate, attentive care to a wide variety of pets.
