What You'll Do:
- Prepare and cook a variety of foods according to menus, dietary requirements, and safety standards
- Operate kitchen equipment and maintain cleanliness and sanitation
- Assist with food storage, inventory, and support special functions
- Collaborate with the dining services team to ensure quality service and adapt to changing needs
- Uphold a safe, efficient, and customer-focused kitchen environment
What You'll Need:
- High school graduate or equivalent (required)
- Must be 18 years or older to operate potentially hazardous equipment (required)
- 2 years of institutional cooking experience in long-term care or assisted living (required)
- Preferred: Experience in fine dining alongside institutional cooking
