Duties
- Process payroll using systems such as Workday, ADP, Paychex, or UltiPro, ensuring timely and accurate salary disbursements
- Perform data entry for payroll and accounting transactions with high accuracy and attention to detail
- Reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure consistency across financial records
- Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger using accounting software like QuickBooks, PeopleSoft, or Ceridian
- Conduct account reconciliations regularly to verify the integrity of financial data and identify discrepancies
- Support benefits administration activities including tracking employee benefits and processing related transactions
- Assist with governmental and non-profit accounting procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
Skills
- Proficiency in payroll management systems such as Workday, ADP, Paychex, or Kronos
- Strong understanding of corporate accounting principles and financial concepts including debits & credits, double entry bookkeeping, and general ledger accounting
- Experience with accounting software like QuickBooks, UltiPro, PeopleSoft, or Ceridian for bookkeeping and financial reporting
- Knowledge of HRIS platforms for human resources data management
- Ability to perform detailed analysis skills for account reconciliation and financial reporting
- Familiarity with tax regulations related to payroll and corporate finance
- Excellent data entry skills including 10 key typing proficiency and attention to detail in journal entries and bookkeeping tasks
