Payroll SpecialistLocation: On-Site; Nottingham, MD or Meridian, MSFull-Time | Non-ExemptMitchell Companies is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to manage multi-state payroll in a high-volume, multi-location environment. This role requires strong attention to detail, solid compliance knowledge, and hands-on experience with ADP.This position plays a critical role in ensuring payroll is processed accurately, timely, and in compliance with federal and state regulations. This is a deadline-driven role with minimal room for error.What You’ll DoProcess weekly and/or biweekly payroll for hourly and salaried employeesAudit time and attendance records prior to payroll submissionEnsure accurate calculation of overtime, commissions, bonuses, and deductionsManage garnishments, tax withholdings, and related compliance requirementsMaintain payroll records and employee data within ADPPartner with HR and Finance to resolve payroll discrepanciesSupport year-end processing including W-2 preparationRespond to employee payroll inquiries professionally and promptly What You Bring3 years of full-cycle payroll processing experienceHands-on ADP experience (Workforce Now strongly preferred)Multi-state payroll experienceStrong understanding of wage and hour regulationsHigh level of accuracy and accountabilityProficiency in ExcelAbility to manage confidential information appropriatelyExperience in multi-location operations is preferred.What We OfferCompetitive compensationComprehensive benefits package401(k) with company matchStable, growing organizationCollaborative team environment
