Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Family Specialist based in Key Largo, FL. The Family Specialist will support families by providing case management services, including assessing needs, developing and implementing family service plans, and collaborating with community resources. The role involves maintaining detailed case records, promoting child safety and well-being, and supporting families through interventions and guidance to enhance their development and stability. The ideal candidate will work closely with families to create a nurturing and positive environment while ensuring compliance with guidelines and procedures.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively and empathetically with families and community partners
- Knowledge and understanding of Family Law and related processes
- Proficiency in Case Management techniques, including assessment, planning, and documentation
- Awareness or background in Child Welfare and Family Services is preferred.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field preferred
- Experience in social services or a similar role is a strong advantage
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team as well as independently in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
