Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Shop Assistant to join our team
we are looking for someone to clean around the shop inside and outside
you will also be asked to make parts deliveries and pick ups so a good driver license is needed
and you will also make small tractor deliveries and pick ups so you have to be able to drive a 2500 pick up truck with a trailer
we will also have you assist in the shop with repairs to machines and assist in assembelling machines
Duties
- Assist in the assembly of products using hand tools and power tools
- Operate forklifts to transport materials within the warehouse.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members on the assembly line to meet production goals.
- Conduct quality checks on assembled products to ensure they meet specifications.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines while working with machinery and tools.
- cleaning of the shop and our outside yard
Requirements
- Mechanical knowledge is essential for understanding assembly processes.
- Familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and fabrication techniques.
- Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification is a plus but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Physical ability to lift and move materials as needed throughout the day.
