Core Responsibilities:
Workshop Organization & Operations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workshop environment
- Organize tools, materials, and fabrication areas
- Maintain and monitor workshop equipment and machinery
- Perform basic maintenance and upkeep of fabrication tools
- Ensure materials and equipment are ready for production
Materials & Logistics
- Pick up and deliver materials and supplies when required
- Load and unload materials safely
- Assist with material inventory and storage
- Coordinate deliveries and pickups for projects
- Valid driver's license required
Fabrication & Production Support
- Assist fabricators with copper and metal fabrication projects
- Support cutting, bending, forming, and assembly of metal products
- Assist with architectural copper projects such as finials, dormers, and custom elements
- Help prepare materials for fabrication
CNC & Machinery Operation
- Assist with CNC machines and fabrication equipment
- Learn to operate and support precision metal cutting and forming processes
- Help maintain machines and ensure proper operation
Assembly & Project Support
- Assist with assembly and finishing of architectural metal products
- Support special fabrication projects when needed
- Occasionally assist with project preparation or job site support
