General Maintenance/Mechanic

Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and skilled General Maintenance/Mechanic to join our dynamic facilities team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of building systems and equipment to ensure a safe, functional, and efficient environment. Your expertise will help uphold the integrity of our facilities, supporting operations across residential, commercial, or industrial settings. Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on heavy equipment, diesel servicing, wide array of mechanics and vehicle upkeep.
• Maintain facilities equipment by replacing parts, calibrating systems, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Read and interpret technical schematics and wiring diagrams to diagnose issues accurately.
• Supervise or assist with maintenance operations involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical work, HVAC system repairs, and other complex systems.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal client requests promptly and professionally while maintaining safety protocols.
• Lead or support maintenance teams in managing maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) activities efficiently.

Experience

• Proven experience in general maintenance or mechanical repair roles within residential, commercial, or industrial facilities.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools, electrical equipment repair tools, welding gear, plumbing tools, and carpentry supplies.
• Supervisory or leadership experience in a maintenance setting is preferred; capable of guiding team members effectively.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
