What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Associate position at Werres?
The Warehouse Associate is a full-time, hourly position, in the Ashland Virginia Parts Department. Work hours are 8 : 00 a.m. - 5 : 00 p.m., Monday - Friday, with one hour for lunch unless the Parts Department Manager determines that business needs warrant a different work schedule.
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of shipping and receiving for the Werres Corporation.
The Warehouse Associate will
- Have the physical stamina to work on concrete floors in a warehouse, which can be cold in the winter and hot in the summer.
- Be able to perform the reaching, bending, twisting, stretching, lifting at times up to 50 lbs. or more. (tire press function may require 100 lbs), and other physical actions required as a basic part of this job.
- Be detail oriented and be able to work accurately with numbers.
- Interact in a positive manner with internal and external customers and the rest of the Parts Department team.
