As the Cognos to Power BI Report Conversion Specialist, you will:
– Migrate reports from IBM Cognos to Microsoft Power BI, ensuring accuracy in design and functionality
– Implement data-level security and real-time data access
– Ensure seamless integration with databases and data warehouses
– Optimize Power BI reports for performance and scalability
– Manage role-based access controls and secure authentication
– Perform thorough testing and validation, including user acceptance testing
– Provide documentation and conduct training on Power BI functionalities
Qualifications
Must-Have:
– Strong communication skills
– Experience with Cognos Reporting and Transformer Cube
– Proficiency in Power BI dashboarding
– Solid SQL skills

– Job Title: Senior Programmer Analyst
– Pay Rate: $60.00/hr
– Assignment Length: 1 year (with possibility of extension)
– Location: Richmond, VA (Hybrid – 1 week on-site, 1 week remote)
– Schedule: 40 hours/week
– Overtime: May be required at times
