Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Mechanic to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining range of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
- Conduct repairs on various mechanical systems including, transmissions, suspension, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain components.
- Execute routine maintenance such as oil changes, transmission services and vehicle inspections to uphold manufacturer standards.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and mechanical knowledge to complete repairs efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems effectively.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair procedures clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process.
Experience
- Proven experience working in the automotive repair industry with a strong background in dealership or independent shop environments.
- Demonstrated expertise in automotive diagnostics and transmission repair.
- Knowledge of automotive maintenance procedures including oil changes, shocks & struts replacement, and brake repair.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics accurately while working with vehicle-specific technical manuals.
- Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical repair tools.
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
