Job Title: IT Engineer

Schedule: In-Person, Monday - Friday | Full-time | Approximately 40-45 hours/week

Job Position Summary:

Wendling is seeking an IT Engineer to support and maintain the organization's technology infrastructure while delivering exceptional service to employees across multiple locations. This position combines both Tier 1 and Tier 2 support responsibilities with hands-on involvement in technology projects, system administration, equipment deployment, and continuous improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical troubleshooting skills, a customer-service mindset, and the ability to effectively support users while contributing to the reliability, security, and performance of the organization's technology environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support for hardware, software, mobile devices, telecommunications systems, and network-related issues.

• Install, configure, maintain, and support computers, mobile devices, software applications, telecommunications equipment, and related technology infrastructure.

• Administer user accounts and system access, ensuring appropriate security and compliance with organizational standards.

• Provide technical guidance, training, and support to employees on technology tools, system access, cybersecurity awareness, and best practices.

• Monitor and maintain IT assets, equipment inventory, and technology resources.

• Participate in technology projects involving the planning, implementation, and support of new systems, devices, and services.

• Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and end users to ensure reliable and efficient technology operations.

• Document technical solutions, maintain system records, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in Information Technology or a related field required.

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience working in Information Technology or a related technical field.

• Technical certifications such as A , HDI, ITIL, Network , MCITP, MCSE, or equivalent certifications preferred.

• Experience with Microsoft SQL database administration and/or software engineering preferred.

• Strong understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, software applications, mobile devices, and user account administration.

• Knowledge of networking concepts, troubleshooting methodologies, and information security best practices.

• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently while maintaining a high level of customer service.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with employees, leadership, customers, vendors, and external partners at all levels of the organization.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and adapt to changing technology and business needs.

• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to company locations as needed.
