Job Position Description:
Responsible for designing, cutting and shaping metal to repair existing equipment and fabricating new equipment.

Job Responsibilities:
- Repair existing equipment and fabricating new, including hard surfacing wear items.
- Weld components using a variety of processes including TIG, MIG and ARC, Plasma cutter, Oxy acetylene torch.
- Work safely with adherence to Wendling Quarries safety policy.
- Ensure that the supply of consumables ( i.e. gas, welding wire etc.) does not run out.
Job Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or GED
- Familiarity with Stick welding, Flux core wire welding, ARC gouging, Plasma cutter and Oxy acetylene torch
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and recognize welding symbols and specifications
- Class A CDL (for service truck)
Hours & Compensation:
- Monday – Friday
- Approximately 50 hours/week
