- Direct and oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll accounting, cost accounting, and fixed assets.
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process, ensuring accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and management reports.
- Develop, implement, and maintain accounting policies, internal controls, and procedures in accordance with U.S. GAAP and company standards.
- Partner with plant and commercial leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support operational decision-making.
- Direct the preparation of cost analyses, rate studies, and profitability reporting by product line and facility.
- Coordinate and manage external audit engagements, tax filings, and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Oversee inventory accounting, standard costing, and reconciliation processes across manufacturing locations.
- Evaluate and strengthen internal control systems, identifying opportunities to improve accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
- Present financial results and analysis to senior leadership, highlighting risks, trends, and opportunities.
- Support system implementations and process improvement initiatives within the finance and accounting function.
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies, local, state, and federal regulations, and applicable accounting standards.
- Drive Cost Control initiatives across all facilities
