Clinical Director / Founding Clinical Advisor — Concierge Mental Health Platform

Location: Denver/Boulder, Colorado

Engagement: Advisory / part-time founding role

Compensation: Monthly director’s retainer potential vested equity in MSO technology entity, subject to legal and tax review

Licensure: Colorado-licensed PsyD, PhD, LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent qualified mental health professional

WellxNess is building a premium, tech-forward concierge mental health platform for high-performing professionals, founders, executives, and senior technology leaders navigating burnout, leadership pressure, venture stress, and major career transitions.

We are seeking a seasoned Colorado-licensed clinician to serve as our founding Clinical Director / Clinical Advisor and help shape the clinical foundation of the platform.

This is not a generic telehealth role. We are designing a discreet, relationship-based care model with thoughtful client matching, lower clinician caseloads, secure asynchronous support, and a premium client experience built for the realities of executive and founder life.

The Clinical Director will help establish and guide the clinical side of the business while the MSO handles non-clinical operations, including technology, marketing, billing infrastructure, and platform development.

This role may include:

• Advising on clinical quality standards, care protocols, and therapist workflows
• Helping define boundaries for asynchronous messaging and response-time expectations
• Supporting the design of therapist-facing workflows within a modern digital health platform
• Reviewing intake, documentation, escalation, and crisis-disclaimer protocols
• Advising on future W-2 clinician hiring and evaluation
• Helping ensure the model protects both client experience and therapist sustainability
• Participating in early clinical governance discussions as the platform prepares to launch

Depending on fit, this role may also involve helping establish or lead the clinician-owned Professional Corporation side of an MSO-PC structure, subject to review by Colorado healthcare counsel.

We are especially interested in clinicians who have experience with one or more of the following:

• Executive stress, founder burnout, workplace psychology, or career transitions
• High-performing professionals, entrepreneurs, executives, or venture-backed teams
• Private practice ownership, clinical leadership, or supervising clinicians
• Digital health, telehealth, asynchronous care, or secure messaging workflows
• Clinical operations, documentation standards, and care-quality systems
• Colorado CPOM/MSO-PC models or willingness to learn with legal support

Strong candidates will understand that premium mental health care requires both clinical excellence and careful boundaries. We are looking for someone who can help build a model that is responsive without being unsustainable, high-touch without being clinically vague, and tech-enabled without feeling impersonal.

Compensation may include:

• A flat monthly Clinical Director / Advisor retainer
• Potential vested equity or profit-interest participation in the MSO technology entity
• Long-term opportunity to help shape a premium mental health platform from the ground up

Final compensation, equity, ownership, and advisory terms will be structured with legal and tax counsel to avoid improper fee-splitting and ensure compliance with applicable Colorado healthcare requirements.

This role is likely not a fit for someone looking for a standard therapy caseload, a high-volume telehealth contractor role, or a purely administrative title.

It is a fit for a senior clinician who is excited by the opportunity to help design a premium, clinician-first care model for a highly specific audience.
