Job Summary
The Accounts Payable Associate will function under the direction of the Supervisor of the Scan Team. The Accounts Payable Associate is responsible for scanning invoices in the imaging system. The Accounts Payable Associate will review the images to ensure quality of image. The Accounts Payable Associate will review the eform data after the Optical Character Recognition process to confirm the accuracy. The Accounts Payable Associate will process outgoing checks in a timely manner and perform special projects as assigned.

Complies with all Wellstar Health System policies, standards of work, and code of conduct.
Required Minimum Education
High school diploma
Required Minimum License(s) And Certification(s)
All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated.

Required Minimum Experience:

Minimum 1 year of related experience
Required Minimum Skills
Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in preparing and entering financial information.
Basic Excel skills.

- Ensure documents are scanned accurately and efficiently. Check images for quality.
- Check eforms (verify) for correct data after the OCR process
- Ensure any required copies of invoices, statements, registrations, etc., are included with payments when they are placed in envelope for mailing.
- Maintain security and confidentiality of payments.
- Use of effective verbal, written and listening communication skills.
- Research and resolve issues as they occur.
