About the Position

This role involves rotating between multiple locations, including the Nuclear Medicine Departments at various facilities. The position requires collaboration with other full-time team members.

• Monday - Friday, 7 AM - 3:30 PM


• Rotating call 7 days a week


• BBMP campus hours: 6:30 AM - 3 PM


• Weekend and Holiday: Call only

• Perform a variety of nuclear medicine procedures including:




• Bone scans (whole body and 3-phase)


• HIDA scans


• GI bleed imaging


• Lymphoscintigraphy


• Parathyroid imaging


• Thyroid uptake studies


• Renal scans with Lasix


• Lung scans


• MUGA scans


• WBC infection imaging


• MPI stress tests




• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient care.


• Float between general nuclear medicine and cardiology services as needed.

• Required:




• 3 years of experience in nuclear medicine


• BLS certification


• NMTCB(N) or ARRT(N) certification


• State license in Nuclear Medicine and Radiology or Computed Tomography




• Preferred:




• ARRT (CT) certification


• B.S. or B.A. in a related field

• Radiation badge: Must be provided by the agency; not supplied by the organization.


• Open to accommodating block schedules, subject to approval.


• Guaranteed hours policy allows for the facility to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks.


• Travelers may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June - November). Early confirmation for new assignments is requested during this period.

The position is located within a level II trauma, acute care hospital environment, utilizing Epic for charting.
