General Diagnostic Ultrasound Technologist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated General Diagnostic Ultrasound Technologist with a strong background in ultrasound imaging and patient care. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge and experience in performing general abdominal, vascular, and OB/GYN ultrasound procedures.

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations in accordance with established protocols.


• Prepare and position patients for imaging, ensuring their comfort and safety.


• Operate ultrasound equipment proficiently and maintain its quality and safety standards.


• Analyze and interpret ultrasound images for diagnostic purposes.


• Work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.


• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to provide optimal patient care.

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as an Ultrasound Technologist.


• Double registered in General ABD, Vascular, and OB/GYN with ARDMS certifications.


• Current certifications in PALS, BLS/BCLS, and ACLS.


• Additional allied health certifications preferred, including ARRT(R), ARRT(M), ARRT(CT), ARRT(MRI), RDCS, and RVT.


• Ability to work variable shifts and provide holiday coverage as needed.

This position requires the ability to work autonomously and adapt to varied schedules. Candidates should be prepared for potential changes in work hours based on patient needs and departmental requirements.
