CVOR Surgical Technologist (CST)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced CVOR Surgical Technologist (CST) to join our dedicated surgical team. This position involves working in a fast-paced environment, contributing to successful surgical outcomes, and providing essential support to surgical staff during procedures.

• Schedule: 4-10 hour shifts per week


• Rotating call schedule required

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist.


• Current Colorado Surgical Technologist (CST) license from DORA, required.


• Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program.


• Certification in Surgical Technology from NBSTSA, AST, or NCCT is mandatory.


• Current CVOR experience of at least 1 year.


• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association.


• Certification in Surgical First Assistant (CSFA) is a bonus but not required.


• Current flu vaccine is required; no exemptions accepted.

• Assist the surgical team during procedures in the CVOR.


• Maintain a sterile environment and ensure all surgical instruments and supplies are available and functioning.


• Prepare and handle instruments, equipment, and supplies required for surgical procedures.


• Collaborate with the surgical team to optimize patient care and outcomes.

Holiday coverage will be required for this position. Candidates must be prepared for a dynamic work environment and the demands of a surgical setting.
