Job Summary

Surgical Technologist, Operating Room Open Heart. This full-time travel position supports a cardiovascular operating room team and hybrid catheterization laboratory. The role involves rotating shifts and call coverage while providing certified surgical technology support for cardiovascular procedures.

Job Details

• Schedule: Rotating shifts consisting of four 10-hour shifts per week, with a rotating call schedule; 40 hours per week.


• Required Qualifications:
  
  
  
  • Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program.
  
  
  • Certification in surgical technology through the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA), Association of Surgical Technologists (AST), or National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT).
  
  
  • Current Colorado Certified Surgical Technologist license through the Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA).
  
  
  • At least one year of current cardiovascular operating room experience.
  
  
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
  
  
  • Current influenza vaccination; exemptions are not accepted.
  
  
  
  


• Preferred Qualifications: Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA) certification.
