Location: On-site, Wellspring Senior Living Campus, Saginaw

Reports to: Sales Manager / Executive Director

Position Type: Part-time | Hourly

Wellspring Lutheran Services is a statewide nonprofit dedicated to serving seniors, families, and children throughout Michigan. We are currently seeking a part-time Sales Counselor to join our Saginaw Senior Living team.

Responsibilities

• Respond to prospective inquiries via phone, website, walk-in, and appointments within 1 business day or before close of business each day
• Provide information about the campus, conduct tours, and qualify prospects to support closing the sales process
• Maximize occupancy and revenue using prospect-centered selling strategies
• Maintain strong focus on sales activities that directly impact conversion ratios, especially visit-to-close performance
• Conduct personalized follow-up including calls, meetings, and home visits/outside sales
• Develop and review prospect life stories and identify motivators related to their current living situations
• Meet or exceed monthly sales goals established by leadership
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date prospect information and interactions in the CRM system
• Represent the campus through community involvement and networking
• Plan and execute campus events in coordination with the Sales Manager
• Visit and evaluate prospective residents for move-in appropriateness when needed
• Coordinate assessments as part of the admissions process
• Manage the sales pipeline daily and maintain accurate forecasts
• Oversee the full sales process from initial inquiry through move-in, including ongoing support
• Work independently during weekends and after-hours sales opportunities as needed
• Maintain positive relationships with clients, coworkers, and community members
• Communicate regularly with leadership regarding goals, program development, and service areas
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma required
• Associate’s degree preferred (business development, sales, or marketing)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales support, customer service, or leadership
• Experience in senior services or non-tangible product/service sales preferred
• Valid Michigan driver’s license
• Reliable, responsible, and self-motivated
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate approach and commitment to quality
  
  

Schedule and Compensation

• Employment type: Part-time (29 hours per week)
• Schedule: Weekday schedule, Monday - Friday
• Shift: Day and Afternoon hours
• Weekends: Ability to be flexible, occasional evenings/weekend days for clients as needed
• Pay Rate: $22.50 per hour
• Additional compensation: Eligible for sales bonuses / commission, once trained
