As a Maintenance Worker, you'll be part of a team who are committed to supporting our staff in their work of serving seniors and their families in Frankenmuth. In this position, you'll be directly supporting your community in Saginaw County to provide services to seniors. In this position, you'll bring a high school diploma. You will also bring experience in any mechanical, electrical or maintenance related experience; at least two years of prior maintenance experience is preferred. You will also bring a working knowledge of using computers and a willingness to learn the software for work orders.

As a Maintenance Worker, you will:
- Must organize workload and prioritize work orders to provide repairs to not interrupt daily activity needs and complete work orders to maintain the appearance and functions of the facility.
- Operate small electrical tools, lawn mowers, rototillers, edger's, etc.
- Interior and exterior painting
- Perform duties in accordance with established methods and techniques in conformance with recognized standards as well as federal/state rules and regulations.
- Knowledgeable of and able to carry out expected procedures during all types of disasters and drills.
- Maintain the preventative maintenance program as established by supervisor
- Is available to assist other staff as may be necessary to provide a service in emergency situations
- Maintain water, heating and sewage systems as required
- Assist in maintaining security of grounds and buildings
